Job description

We are expanding our team in Colchester and require experienced Healthcare Assistants to support our service users with his complex care needs.

If you are committed, motivated, enjoy delivering one to one support and can build positive relationships with our service users and their families, this could be just the position you are looking for!

Our service user is in his late teens and lives with his family in Colchester.

He requires care on a 2:1 basis throughout the day and night. - You will be working along a Registered Nurse at all times, across 12 hour shifts.

You will be supporting his personal and social needs, along with medication administration, moving and handling and delivering his essential clinical care.

Please note, our service user lives close to good public transport links making this accessible for non-drivers.

Essential Experience Required

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Epilepsy Care
  • Seizure Management
  • Respiratory Care
  • Oral Suction
  • Oxygen Administration

Shifts Available

  • Full Time & Part Time
  • Days - 8am - 8pm
  • Nights - 8pm - 8am
