Job description

We are expanding our team in Durham and require experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a young baby with his complex care needs.

If you are committed, motivated, enjoy delivering one to one support and can build positive relationships with our service users and their families, this could be just the position you're looking for!

Our service user is a baby boy with clinical care needs, and he is currently residing in Royal Victoria Infirmary. We are working hard to get him home as soon as possible but we need a fantastic care team in place to do so.

We offer full comprehensive training to support all clinical needs but require your invaluable Healthcare experience to assist with any social, personal care needs, medication administration and moving and handling.

We work hard to build close relationships with our service users and their families as we understand the importance that we play in their lives.

Essential Experience Required

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • Tracheostomy Care

Desirable Experience

  • Ventilation Management
  • Gastrostomy Care (Peg Feeding)

We have the following shifts available;

  • Full Time & Part Time
  • Nights - 12 hour shifts
  • Days - 8am - 5pm
