Job description

Are you looking to expand your skills and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care or do you already have Complex Care experience?

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a young lady with complex care needs.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user lives in Stafford and requires care on a full-time basis throughout the day and night.

She is fully dependent on her family and care team to support her with daily life and activities.

You will be carrying out close observations to identify the onset of a seizure as she experiences multiple seizures daily, which can vary in severity and length.

Ideally you will be experienced in seizure management as you will be required to carry out airway management and administer rescue medication when required.

You will assist with her personal care and medication administration as well as supporting with catheter care and PEG feeding.

We offer full comprehensive training to support with all clinical needs which will enhance your invaluable skills and experience.

Essential Experience Required

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • Medication Administration
  • Drivers with access to a vehicle

Desirable Experience

  • Epilepsy Care
  • Seizure Management / Rescue Medication
  • Medication Administration
  • PEG Feeding
  • Catheter Care

We have the following shifts available;

  • Full Time & Part Time
  • Days - 7am - 6pm / 12.30pm - 10pm
  • Nights - 20.30pm - 9.00am
