Job description

We are expanding our team in Northampton and require experienced Healthcare Assistants to support an adolescent male with his complex care needs.

If you are committed, motivated, enjoy delivering one to one support and can build positive relationships with our service users and their families, this could be just the position you are looking for!

Our service user is in his mid-teens and lives with his family in Northampton.

He requires care on a 2:1 basis throughout the day & night.

You will be supporting his personal and social needs, as well as fulfilling his sensory, play and social needs when required.

We offer full comprehensive training, but require your invaluable care experience to assist with medication administration, moving and handling and to deliver his clinical care.

Our ideal applicant will have a genuine interest in working with children and young people.

Essential Experience Required

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

  • Gastrostomy Care (PEG Feeding)
  • Seizure Management
  • Bowel Care
  • Oral Suction
  • Cough Assist

Shifts Available

  • Full Time & Part Time
  • Days - 8am - 8pm
  • Nights - 8pm - 8am
