Job description

Are you looking to expand your skills and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care or do you already have Complex Care experience?

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking a team of experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a gentleman with his complex care needs.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user is a young adult who lives with his family in Darlington. He is very sociable and enjoys spending time and interacting with his family.

He enjoys getting out into the community as much as he can, going to the cinema, bowling and the seaside were his favourite places to visit.

When at home he likes listening to music and stories, sensory stimulation and playing with a set of his soft toys.

Our ideal applicant will be flexible, committed and have a genuine interest / passion in providing exceptional care and support.

Essential Experience Required

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

  • Tracheostomy Care
  • Ventilation management
  • Gastrostomy Care (Peg Feeding)
  • Seizure management

Shifts Available

  • Part Time
  • Days - 8am - 8pm
  • Nights - 8pm - 8am
