Job description

Are you passionate about enhancing a child or young person's everyday life?

Would you like to progress your career by working with children who require complex clinical care?

We are looking to recruit a team of Support Workers who have a genuine interest in working with children and young people, to support a young boy who has severe complex care needs.

Our service user based in Liverpool and enjoys taking part in physical and sensory play. His favourite hobby is spending time outside and going swimming.

Due to his current clinical needs, we are looking to grow a team who can enable him to continue to do the things he enjoys but can also keep him safe at all times.

We are looking for applicants who have experience dealing with challenging behaviours and preferably have hands on experience with children with complex requirements.

The right candidate would be able to show great awareness and be able to identify the needs of their service user.

You would need to assist with mobility and encourage a positive behaviour, while also supporting his family.

Essential Experience Required

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

  • Gastrostomy Care (Peg Feeding)
  • Managing Challenging Behaviours

We have the following shifts available;

  • Part Time
  • Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays- 4pm-8pm
  • Thursday and Friday- 2pm-8pm
  • Saturday- 5 hour day
