Job description

Are you looking to enhance your career by developing your Complex Care skills or do you already have Complex Care experience?

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a young boy with complex care needs in the Billinge area.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who enjoy delivering one to one support and can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user is a happy go lucky individual that enjoys having that interaction with adults and receiving cuddles.

He enjoys sensory play with his toys and lights and especially enjoys watching TV and spending time outside in his wheelchair.

You will be required to observe and monitor him overnight and react to his needs, ensuring he is safe and well at all times.

If you are a dedicated, reliable person who has a genuine interest in working with children, this could be the perfect role for you!

Essential Experience Required

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

  • Gastrostomy Care (Peg Feeding)

We have the following shifts available;

  • Part Time Nights- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday- 8pm-8am
  • Evenings- 3.30pm- 8pm- 4X a week and alternative Saturdays
