Are you looking to expand your skills and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care or do you already have Complex Care experience?

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a gentleman with complex care needs.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user is an adult male who resides in Canvey Island.

He enjoys nature and likes spending time in the garden when the weather permits.

He requires a live-in carer to support him in his day-to-day life, carry out clinical interventions and to support him with personal care, meal preparation, domestic tasks around the home.

We are looking for engaging and motivating individuals who can provide companionship whilst also encouraging and supporting him to access the community, take part in social activities and attend appointments, whilst ensuring he feels comfortable, supported, and reassured.

Please note, drivers are preferred and may be required to drive an adapted vehicle.

Essential Experience Required

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

  • Spinal Injury Knowledge
  • Ventilation Management
  • Medication Administration

We have the following shifts available;

  • Monday to Sunday (Live in)
  • 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
