We are looking for experienced and committed Support Workers and Healthcare Assistants with an interactive approach, who are eager to enhance their skills in the complex care sector. While prior complex care experience is beneficial, it is not a requirement as full bespoke clinical training will be provided.
You will need to be passionate about delivering the highest quality care to our service users, building positive relationships with them and their family whilst empowering them to live as independently as possible within the comfort of their own home.

Meet our service user
Our service user is a sociable young lady in her late teens, that is living with her family in Buxton and requires care throughout the day on a 2:1 basis to support her complex care needs.
A key aspect of this role involves being out in the community with our service user, enjoying their hobbies, interests and accessing her favourite social activities. This includes, going swimming as she loves attending water therapy, socialising with her friends, and visiting farms, particularly being around the horses.
Throughout the day she also attends a centre that offers outstanding education and care. You will be required to support with accompanying her home at the end of each day with the use of the service users adapted vehicle.
At home you will provide support with all aspects of her care and companionship, this includes personal care, moving and handling, clinical observations and attending to her clinical care needs where required. You will be involved in our service user’s night-time routine, creating a calming environment as she likes to be settled in bed by 7pm.

Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
It is essential to hold a valid driving licence for this position as our service user does have an adapted vehicle that you will be required to use
We have the following shifts available with the opportunity of a Permanent contract

Weekdays: £13.00 per hour (£91.00 approx. per 7-hour shift)
Saturday & Sundays: £14.00 per hour (£98.00 approx. per 7-hour shift)
Bank Holidays: £15.00 per hour (£105.00 approx. per 7-hour shift)
