If you are an experienced Healthcare Assistant looking to expand your skills and knowledge into complex care or if you already have complex care experience, this could be the perfect job role for you!
We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality one-to-one care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in their own home.
Meet our service user
Our Service user is a 5-year-old boy who lives at home with his family in Gateshead and requires a new team to support his complex and clinical care needs within his educational setting.
He loves spending quality time and interacting with his family and friends and enjoys watching his favourite cartoon character, Peppa Pig.
Our dedicated care team will accompany him at school and provide a secure and welcoming environment where our young service user can thrive. You will work closely with teachers, and healthcare professionals to ensure we're providing the best possible support for him.
From sensory activities to interactive play, you will support a variety of stimulating experiences to support his engagement, and his learning and development.
Throughout the day you will provide support with his personal care, moving and handling, clinical observations and attending to his clinical care needs when required. You will follow his interests, making sure every day is filled with smiles, laughter, and love.
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.

We are currently paying £15.00 per hour for this position, approx. £90.00 per 6-hour shift
This is a personally rewarding role where you can build on your clinical skills and experience, whilst delivering exceptional care and support to our service user, really making an impact on his day-to-day life.
