We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
Meet our service user
Our service user is a pre-schooler who lives in a loving family home in Blackburn and requires support with her complex care needs throughout the day and night.
She is a happy and content young girl who thrives on interaction with her family and care team, particularly when engaging in playtime activities. She loves to play with musical toys, enjoys listening to music and watching cartoons on TV, especially Mr. Bean.
Throughout the day you will be supporting within her educational setting, your role will include supporting with her daily tasks such as personal care, moving and handling, making close observations whilst attending to her clinical needs when required. We are also looking for our care team to assist and encourage with her learning and development skills.
Throughout the night you will provide support with her personal care, repositioning, attending to her clinical care needs when required and provide a peaceful environment to promote a restful nights sleep.
It is important to understand her methods of communication and identify her wants and needs, she is non-verbal and communicates using facial expressions and body language, she has also recently started to learn Makaton too. Patience and understanding are key qualities for this role.

Weekdays £14.00 per hour Approx. £112 per 8-hour shift
Weeknights £14.50 per hour Approx. £145 per 10-hour shift
Saturdays £14.50 per hour Approx. £116 per 8-hour shift
Sundays £15.00 per hour Approx. £120 per 8-hour shift
Bank Holidays: £16.00 per hour Approx. £128.00 per 8-hour shift
