We are seeking a reliable and empathetic Support Workers/Healthcare assistants to provide exceptional care to our service user with complex care needs. Your support will enable him to live comfortably and with dignity, maintaining his quality of life and independence.
You will need to be passionate about delivering the highest quality care to our service users, building positive relationships with them and their family whilst empowering them to live as independently as possible within the comfort of their own home.

Meet our service user
Our service user is an enthusiastic gentleman in his early 30s who lives in Burntwood and requires support on a 2:1 basis during the night to support his complex care needs.
He is a vibrant gentleman who has an active lifestyle and enjoys keeping busy and engaged. He loves singing and dancing to his favourite songs and exploring his adapted sensory garden where he enjoys observing his sensory lights and the nature around him.
Throughout the night you will provide support with his personal care needs, frequent repositioning, clinical observations and attending to his clinical needs when required. You will provide a safe and calming environment to promote a restful night’s sleep.
He is unable to communicate verbally and will use facial expressions and sounds to make his wants and needs known. To avoid him becoming distressed of frustrated, you will spend time to get to know his unique signals and cues.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have experience with the following:

We have the following shifts available

Weeknights: £14.00 - £15.50 per hour (£168 - £186 approx. per 12-hour shift)
Weekends: £14.50 - £16.00 per hour (£174 - £192 approx. per 12-hour shift)
