Meet our service user
Our service user is a gentleman in his 30s, who lives in Darlington with his family.
We provide specialist 1:1 and 2:1 care to support his complex care needs throughout the day and night.
In this fulfilling role, you will provide personal care, moving and handling, clinical observations and attending to his needs when required.
It is important to create a positive environment for him and support him in pursuing his hobbies, interests and engaging in social activities such as accessing the community, bowling, trips to the cinema, visiting the seaside and exploring sensory and tactile play.
During the night, you will assist with personal care, repositioning, clinical observations, and attending to any medical requirements to ensure a peaceful night's rest.
Our service user is none verbal and communicates through a variety of methods such as facial expressions and the use of body language. It is important you become familiar with his methods of communication to ensure his needs and wants are met. Patience and understanding are key qualities for this role.
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
To be successful in this role it is essential that you have experience in following areas:

Shifts Available
Take a look at our pay rates
Weekdays: £12.00 per hour (Approx. £144 per 12-hour shift)
Weeknights: £12.50 per hour (Approx. £150.00 per 12-hour shift)
Weekends: £12.75 per hour (Approx. £153.00 per 12-hour shift)
Bank Holidays: £15.50 per hour (Approx. £186.00 per 12-hour shift)
