We are seeking a committed and experienced Healthcare Assistant who is passionate about providing personalised care and skilled in seizure management, to support our young service user. Our service user is a teenage boy who lives with his family in Cannock.
He enjoys watching TV shows and films; some of his favourites are Balamory, Big Cook Little Cook and various 80’s cartoons.
He is unable to communicate verbally and uses a variety of other communication method, including a talking aid. It would be advantageous if you have a basic understanding of Makaton or BSL, or be willing to learn
Your role? To offer comfort and reassurance, promote a restful environment for sleep, conduct regular observations and closely manage his respiratory care and clinical interventions overnight.
