By working with us as a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll be a valued member of a compassionate team dedicated to caring for our young service users who lives in Birmingham.

Our service user is happy young girl who loves spending time outdoors and engaging in sensory based activities, exploring different toys and lights.

She requires an engaging, outgoing individual, with a genuine passion for working with children and young people, to support her to access her favourite activities and accompany her to school. She communicates non-verbally through sounds and facial expressions. Therefore, patience and an ability to learn her cues are essential for building trust and providing the care she requires.

Your role? Accompany her to school and collaborate closely with her teachers to create a supportive and nurturing environment where she can fully participate in her education while effectively managing her clinical interventions.

Please note, it is essential that you can evidence experience of working with children or young people, specifically within a healthcare setting.

Pay Rates:

• £13.00 - £15.00 per hour
• Approx. £104.00 - £120.00 (per 8-hour shift)

Shifts Available:

• Part Time Days
• Monday and Wednesday
• 8am to 4pm

Essential Experience:

• 3 months previous care experience
• Children’s or Young Peoples care
• Medication administration
• Personal care
• Moving and handling
• Clear Communication
