By working with us as a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll be a valued member of a compassionate team dedicated to caring for a male in his 30s in Darlington.

Our service user is very sociable and loves being active in the community. He enjoys trips to the seaside, visits to the bowling alley, and watching the latest films at the cinema.

In this role, you'll provide essential, person-centered care to our service user, manage his clinical interventions, and tend to his care needs as required. You'll also offer companionship and support him to engage in activities.

At night, you'll assist with his bedtime routine, provide specialised care for comfort and security, and create a calming environment for a restful sleep.

Please note, our service user has specifically requested female staff for their team.

Pay Rates:

• £12.85 - £16.50 per hour
• Approx. £154.20 - £198.00 (per 12-hour day shift)
• Approx. £162.00 - £198.00 (per 12- hour night shift)

Shifts Available:

• Part Time Days: 8am – 8pm
• Must be flexible to also cover nights: 8pm – 8am
• 2 Shifts Per Week

Essential Experience:

• 3 months previous care experience
• Medication administration
• Personal care
• Moving and handling
• Clear Communication Skills
