We are looking for a nurse to join a team of nurses to support our service user with her complex care needs.
Our service user is an endearing young girl who lives in Stockport with her loving family.
She has an ultrarare and complex genetic condition, requiring 1:1 care by a nurse.
She enjoys spending time with her family and engaging in sensory based activities.
She has her own extensive and self-contained living space with all the amenities and it is attached to the main house which is conveniently accessible from the M60 motorway.
The applicant will hold a valid NMC Pin, be able to evidence hands-on relevant clinical care, should be coming from a hands-on hospital care or home care setting, have the right attitude, have good interpersonal/relationship management skills, be pleasant, flexible and a team player, be committed, reliable and experienced in either children's or adults' nursing.
It will be advantageous if you have previous experience of working with children.
The candidate should have worked before with patients on ventilator support.
On joining, shadowing can be arranged to get familiar with this young girl.
The essential experience we are looking for is;
Shifts Available: Part Time.
Take a look at our pay rates: Weekdays - £33 per hour. Approx. £396 per 12 hour shift. Weeknights- £33 per hour. Approx. £396 per 12 hour shift. Saturdays/Sundays - £35 per hour. Approx. £420 per 12 hour shift. Bank Holidays- £42 per hour. Approx. £504 per 12 hour shift. FTE starting salary of £61,776 per annum (Equivalent to NHS Band 8).
Our service user has specifically requested for female staff to work on their team.
The candidate will be required to take annual flu vaccination.
The candidate is expected to have a valid driving license and her own car.
The candidate will be required to do her fair share of shifts during bank holidays.
