Are you currently working with children and looking for a new role?
Are you passionate about enhancing a child or young person’s everyday life?
Would you like to progress your career by working with children who require complex clinical care?
We are looking for people who have a genuine interest in working with children and young people, to support our young service users who have some complex clinical care needs.
By working with us as a Healthcare Assistant, you’ll be a valued member of a compassionate team dedicated to caring for a young boy in Olney, Milton Keynes.
He is a happy and affectionate boy who brings joy to everyone around him. His love for water is clear, whether he’s splashing around during bath time or enjoying a swim. Singing and playing with sensory toys, especially those with buttons, are among his favourite activities and keeps him entertained and engaged.
He thrives in school and looks forward to the daily journeys in the school taxi or any car ride, which he finds exciting. He also enjoys going for walks, supported by his care team, where he can explore and enjoy the outdoors.
Your role is to support him after school and be the expert in his care. You’ll have fun with therapeutic play at home, help him wind down with his evening and bedtime routine, creating a relaxing space for sleep, and manage his clinical care needs.
We provide comprehensive training, which enables you to enhance your experience of working with children by adopting a more clinical approach. Training may include, but is not limited to:
