Healthcare Assistant

Location: Ashton Under Lyne, OL6

Pay Rate: £13.00 - £17.00 per hour

Shifts: Part Time, Days & Nights | 4 - 10 hour shifts

Meet Our Client

A friendly and engaging man with a love for music — especially blues, jazz, and rock. He’s a Manchester City fan, enjoys watching the news, and keeps up with politics and current affairs.

He is currently residing in a rehabilitation setting, and we are building his care team to facilitate his discharge back to his home in Walkden.

When he’s back home, he’s really looking forward to getting out and about more, visiting some of his favourite places.

He usually settles in bed around 10pm but may stay up later watching TV.

He receives 2:1 care throughout the day and night, so you’ll be working alongside a registered nurse, supporting his evening routine, managing his clinical care, and providing companionship to ensure a calm and restful night.

Please note: Due to the nature of our vacancies, our clients have the right to request either female or male staff.

What You’ll Need

• 3 months’ care experience
• Confident with medication, personal care, moving and handling
• Clear communication skills
• Experience of delivering clinical interventions
