Meet Our Client

We are currently caring for an energetic and active boy in his early teens with complex needs and are looking for a compassionate, patient, and reliable Healthcare Assistant to join our team.

He enjoys a variety of activities, from playing with Nerf guns to singing along to his favourite nursery rhymes, and often spends time watching his favourite YouTube videos, including Old MacDonald and Spider-Man.

As part of his care team, you will be providing 1:1 overnight care, including meeting his personal care needs, promoting routines, carrying out regular observations, managing his clinical interventions, and providing stimulation and support throughout the night, as he can remain awake for long periods.

Due to the complexity of his needs, we are seeking a Healthcare Assistant who is confident in managing challenging behaviours with proven experience using positive behaviour support and de-escalation techniques.

What You’ll Need

• 3 months’ care experience
• Confident with medication, personal care, moving and handling
• Clear communication skills
• Experience of managing challenging behaviours
