Meet Our Client

We are excited to be expanding our services in Telford and are recruiting compassionate, reliable Healthcare Assistants to support a 3-year-old boy with complex clinical care needs.

This is a rewarding opportunity to provide 1:1, child-centred care in his own home and out in the community. You will play an important role in supporting his health, comfort, development, and overall wellbeing. Your responsibilities will include delivering high-quality clinical care, supporting with all aspects of personal care, and assisting with his daily routines in a gentle and reassuring way.

A key part of the role is encouraging play, interaction, and engagement in activities he enjoys. This may include arts and crafts, outdoor play, sensory activities, and age-appropriate educational games, helping to support his learning and development while creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where he feels happy and secure.

Night shifts will involve supporting his bedtime routine, offering comfort and reassurance, monitoring his clinical needs, and responding promptly to ensure he remains safe, settled, and comfortable throughout the night.

What You’ll Need

• 3 months’ care experience
• Confident with medication, personal care, and moving and handling
• Clear communication skills
