Meet Our Client

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to support a teenage boy who lives at home with his family in Birmingham and requires 1:1 support to attend school safely.

He is a friendly and engaging young person who enjoys spending time on his iPad, playing on his Nintendo Switch, going bowling and to the cinema, cooking, and relaxing in the garden. The role involves building a positive, supportive relationship while promoting his comfort, safety, and wellbeing throughout the school day.

You will provide hands-on support during school hours, including assistance with personal care, moving and handling, administering medication, and supporting his clinical and complex health needs as required. Your role will be vital in helping him access his education safely and confidently.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a patient, reliable Healthcare Assistant who is confident in delivering person-centred care within a school environment.

What You’ll Need

• 3 months’ care experience
• Confident with medication, personal care, moving and handling
• Clear communication skills
