Meet Our Client

You will be supporting a gentleman in his late 60s who lives at home with his wife in Northwich.

He is sociable, enjoys good conversation, and values spending time with friends and family. Music is a big part of his life, with Snow Patrol being a particular favourite. He also enjoys dining out and spending relaxed evenings with those closest to him.

Having enjoyed a varied and interesting career, he loves sharing stories and experiences from his past with the people around him.

Following a high-level spinal injury, he now requires full support with all aspects of his care and is supported by a dedicated 2:1 care team overnight. Despite the challenges he faces, he remains positive and values carers who treat him with dignity, respect, and kindness.

His family are an important part of his life, and he enjoys regular visits from his wife, children, and granddaughter.

We are looking for carers who will become a trusted and valued part of his care team, supporting him to remain comfortable, safe, and well cared for in his own home.

Your Responsibilities

You will provide 2:1 overnight support, assisting with:

• Personal care
• Moving and handling
• Medication administration
• Bowel and catheter care
• Respiratory support, including nebuliser therapy, cough assist, and NIV
• Monitoring his comfort, safety, and wellbeing throughout the night

Full clinical training and ongoing support will be provided where required

What You'll Need

• A minimum of 3 months' care experience
• Experience supporting personal care and moving and handling
• Clear and effective communication skills
• A full UK driving licence is preferred
