• Healthcare Assistant
• Location: Newcastle upon Tyne, NE3
• Pay Rate: £15.00 - £18.50 Per hour | Sleep-in shifts: £90.00 – £95.00 per night
• Shifts: Part Time Days shifts | 12pm-9pm | Monday – Sunday

The Role

We are supporting a bright and engaging young girl who lives at home with her family in Newcastle.

She enjoys:

• Disney and CBeebies
• Reading
• Singing

We are looking for a caring, energetic, and friendly Healthcare Assistant to join her team and support her in the activities she enjoys each day.

During your shifts, you will provide attentive, person-centred care, supporting her comfort, safety, and wellbeing throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing high-quality, person-centred care
• Supporting with personal care respectfully and with dignity
• Administering medication as required
• Assisting with Moving & Handling
• Supporting daily routines and play-based activities
• Monitoring wellbeing and responding to care need
• Tracheostomy care
• Gastrostomy care (PEG feeding)
• Suctioning

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 months’ care experience
• Confident with medication, personal care, and Moving & Handling
• Clear and effective communication skills
