• Location: Stockport, SK5
• Pay Rate: £13.00 - £17.50 Per hour
• Shifts: Part Time | Days: 8am – 8pm | Short calls: 10am–2pm / 6pm–10pm

Applicants must be flexible to work a range of shifts, including both full-day and short-call shifts

The Role

We are supporting a friendly and sociable gentleman who enjoys getting out and about, particularly visiting his local pub to catch up with friends. He is a big fan of quiz shows, with The Chase being a favourite, and has a strong passion for football, especially Manchester City and Stockport County.

We are looking for someone who shares similar interests and would enjoy spending time with him, supporting him to stay connected to the activities and hobbies he loves.

During your shifts, you will provide support with his personal care needs and assist with any clinical care required, ensuring he remains comfortable, safe, and well supported throughout the day.

Please note: during shifts, you will be required to drive the service user’s vehicle; therefore, a full UK driving licence is essential.

Key Responsibilities •

• Providing high-quality, person-centred care
• Supporting with personal care respectfully and with dignity
• Administering medication as required
• Assisting with moving and handling
• Supporting daily routines and community access
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Supporting clinical care needs as required
• Driving the service user’s vehicle when required
• Tracheostomy care
• Autonomic dysreflexia (AD) awareness
• Cough assist therapy

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 3 months’ care experience
• Confident with medication, personal care, and Moving & Handling
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
• Friendly, sociable and able to build positive relationships
• Flexibility to work the required shifts
