About This Role

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to support a bright, cheerful, and lovable 10-year-old girl in her family home, where she lives with her mum and siblings.

This rewarding Healthcare Assistant role offers the opportunity to make a real difference to her daily life while building a meaningful relationship with both her and her family. She loves all things Disney, listening to lullabies, exploring sensory activities, and spending time outdoors, especially visits to the park.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide person-centred care, supporting with personal care, mobility, medication, and specialist clinical interventions. Although non-verbal, she communicates through touch, facial expressions, and emotional responses, so we are looking for compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are patient, attentive, and dedicated to delivering high-quality care.

Waking night shifts include supporting her bedtime routine, monitoring her throughout the night, administering medication, repositioning, and meeting her clinical needs to ensure her safety and comfort.

Clinical Experience

Previous experience supporting children or young people with complex healthcare needs is desirable. Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in house nursing team.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and child-centred care.
• Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
