About This Role

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated female Healthcare Assistants to provide 1:1 support to a lovely 10-year-old girl in her family home, where she lives with her mum and two siblings.

She is a happy and sociable young girl who enjoys Disney, lullabies, sensory activities and trips to the park.

She has her own unique way of communicating through touch, facial expressions and sounds, and responds well to carers who take the time to understand her needs and preferences.

She settles for bed around 10pm and generally sleeps well. Overnight, you’ll monitor her and provide support as needed, including medication, repositioning and monitoring her oxygen levels and Mic-Key tube.

We are looking for someone who is mature, reliable, patient and caring, with a calm approach to supporting children with complex care needs.

Clinical Experience

Previous experience supporting children or young people with complex healthcare needs is desirable.

Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in house nursing team.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and child-centred care.
• Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
