About This Role
We are looking for a caring and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to provide one-to-one support to a fun-loving 13-year-old boy throughout the school day. You’ll meet him at school at 9:00am and play an important role in supporting his wellbeing, clinical needs and social development.
You’ll build a trusting and positive relationship with him, helping him feel confident, comfortable and engaged throughout the day.
You’ll remain vigilant and attentive to his care needs, responding appropriately and attending to these when required. You’ll also encourage his participation in school and social activities, support him to develop his independence and friendships, and help him enjoy a safe, positive and rewarding school experience.
The role is all about providing compassionate, person-centred support while encouraging him to get involved in the activities he enjoys and making the most of his time at school.

Clinical Experience
Previous experience supporting children with complex healthcare needs is desirable.
Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in-house nursing team.
