• Location: Gateshead, NE1
• Pay Rate: £13.00 - £16.00 | Per hour
• Shifts. Part time | Days | 8AM – 5PM

Meet Our Client You will be caring for a wonderful 16-year-old young man with a happy nature, a cheeky sense of humour, and the most infectious smile.

He is very sociable and loves being around people, especially at school where he enjoys chatting and engaging with those around him.

His warm personality and playful character make him a joy to spend time with.

He absolutely loves watching Mr Tumble, listening to nursery rhymes, and exploring his sensory toys, which bring him comfort and enjoyment.

He has a playful spirit and responds so well to fun, laughter, and positive interaction.

Family is incredibly important to him, and he especially loves spending quality time with his younger brother.

Whether they are playing together, sharing laughs, or simply enjoying each other’s company, these moments mean a lot to him.

He thrives with kind, patient, and engaging support from people who take the time to understand his personality, encourage his interests, and celebrate the little things that make him smile.

Carers will be required to provide specialist clinical support including tracheostomy care, ventilation support, gastro feed management, and suctioning.

Full care should be delivered with confidence, compassion, and close attention to his comfort, safety, and individual needs always.

What You’ll Need

• 3 months’ care experience
• Confident with medication, personal care, moving and handling
• Clear communication skills
• Previous expereince as a support worker
