Meet Our Client

We are expanding our services in Croydon and are seeking compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants to join the team supporting a 19-year-old gentleman with complex clinical care needs, on both a 1:1 and 2:1 basis.

This is a rewarding role where you will play a key part in enabling him to live a full and meaningful life. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, engaging in his education routine during the week, listening to music and stories, swimming, and attending a variety of community activities.

You will provide person-centred care that promotes independence, dignity, and quality of life. Responsibilities include personal care, supporting clinical interventions, and encouraging participation in activities that are important to him.

As part of his support, you will assist with access to his hydrotherapy pool. Therefore, applicants must be confident swimmers and comfortable supporting water-based activities.

Evening and night shifts may involve supporting bedtime routines, offering reassurance and companionship, and remaining attentive throughout the night to ensure his comfort and wellbeing.

What You’ll Need

• A minimum of 3 months’ care experience
• Confidence with medication, personal care, and moving and handling
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Confidence in swimming and supporting individuals in a hydrotherapy pool setting
