Pay: £13.00 - £16.00 per hour

Shifts: Full Time | Days | 7am-9pm

About This Role

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants to join the team supporting a friendly teenage girl in her family home in Darlington.

We are looking for dedicated individuals with excellent attention to detail who are committed to promoting her safety, comfort, wellbeing, and quality of life. She is home-schooled, enjoys taking part in a variety of activities throughout the day, and loves spending time outdoors when the weather allows.

Alongside providing her clinical care, you will play an important role in supporting her to enjoy these meaningful experiences and make the most of each day.

As part of this role, you will support our client with a range of complex clinical interventions, as well as providing personal care and mobility support. You will also support her learning, play, and daily activities, helping to create a positive and engaging environment.

This is a specialist role, and, due to the complexity of her medical needs, you will receive comprehensive training within the family home. Working closely with her family and established care team, you will help deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred care that enables her to thrive at home.

Clinical Experience

Previous experience supporting children or young people with complex healthcare needs is desirable. Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in-house nursing team.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and child-centred care.
• Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
• Confident with medication, personal care, moving and handling
• Clear communication skills
