About This Role
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to support a cheerful 9-year-old boy at his home in Willenhall.
He loves sensory play, especially musical and light-up toys, messy play, and anything to do with sharks and sea life. While he can be a little shy when meeting new people, he soon shows his personality through his smiles, laughter, facial expressions, and the sounds he makes. He responds really well to encouragement, reassurance, and spending time doing the activities he enjoys with support from his family.
As part of his dedicated care team, you'll provide person-centred care including PEG feeding for nutrition, hydration, and medication, oral suctioning, nebuliser therapy, seizure management (including administering prescribed rescue medication when required), personal care, and moving and handling using a ceiling hoist. You'll work closely with his family, following his established routines and providing the consistent, high-quality care that helps him thrive.
If you're kind, patient, and passionate about making a real difference to a child's life, we'd love to hear from you.
Please note: Due to the nature of this care package and the family's preferences, we are seeking female Healthcare Assistants to join this care team.
"This isn't just a job - it's your opportunity to make a real difference in a child's life."
