• Shifts: Part Time | Days | 08:00 – 16:00 & 12:00 – 20:00
• Pay: £14.00 per hour, increasing to £16.00–£19.00 per hour once competency sign-off has been successfully completed.

About This Role

We are looking for compassionate Healthcare Assistants to support a friendly and sociable teenage boy who lives at home with his family. He enjoys sensory play, light therapy, and relaxing with his favourite television programmes.

He attends school throughout the day, accompanied by his dedicated care team, who provide continuous support to meet his clinical and personal care needs. The team remains with him during school hours and provides care before, during, and after the school day, ensuring his health, safety, and wellbeing are fully supported at all times.

In this role, you will provide daytime and evening support, assisting with his personal and clinical care, encouraging him to take part in activities he enjoys, and helping maintain a safe, nurturing environment where he feels supported and can thrive.

Clinical Experience

Candidates must evidence a solid background in care, which ideally includes experience supporting children with complex healthcare needs, such as those with multi-sensory impairments or clinical inventions.

Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in house nursing team.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
• Have the right to work in the UK*
• Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and child-centred care.
• Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
