About This Role

We are seeking compassionate, patient, and reliable Healthcare Assistants to join a dedicated care team supporting a cheerful and engaging young man in his teens with complex healthcare needs.

He enjoys spending time on his iPad and Nintendo Switch, going bowling and to the cinema, cooking, and helping in the garden. He has a fun-loving personality and thrives when supported by carers who take the time to build a trusting relationship and encourage his independence.

Your role will involve supporting him with his morning routine at home before accompanying him to school, where you'll provide 1:1 clinical and personal care throughout the day. You'll also support him safely back home after school, ensuring he has everything he needs to remain comfortable, safe, and engaged in his daily activities.

Working closely with his family, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care while supporting him to enjoy his daily routine and achieve the best possible quality of life.

Clinical Experience

Previous experience supporting children with complex healthcare needs is desirable.

Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in-house nursing team.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
• Have the right to work in the UK.*
• Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate, and child-centred care.
• Be willing to complete client-specific clinical training where required.
• Be comfortable working in a family home with pets.

We do not hold a sponsorship licence and are therefore unable to consider applicants requiring sponsorship.
