About This Role

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants to join a dedicated care team supporting a gentleman in his 50’s living with complex healthcare needs within his own home.

Following a spinal cord injury, our client requires personalised 1:1 overnight support to help him maintain his independence, comfort and quality of life. He is fully able to communicate his needs and direct his own care, so we are looking for someone who is patient, adaptable and confident following personalised routines.

Our client enjoys listening to music, watching TV (particularly superhero films), and spending time with his family. He previously worked as a DJ and enjoys maintaining his interests and connection with the community.

The ideal candidate will be calm, mature, and professional, with the ability to follow guidance and provide care that meets the client’s individual needs. A patient, respectful, and thoughtful approach would be well suited to this role.

Clinical Experience

Previous experience supporting adults with complex healthcare needs is desirable.

Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in-house nursing team.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
• Have the right to work in the UK*
• Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
• Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
• Be comfortable working in a family home with pets.
