• Pay: £14.30–£17.50 per hour, or £1,200.50 per week for live-in care.

About This Role

We are building a dedicated care team to support a friendly and engaging gentleman as he prepares to transition from a rehabilitation setting in Southport back to his own home in Walkden. Shifts would initially be in Southport hospital, with this transitioning to Walkden when he is discharged.

He has a great love of music, particularly blues, jazz, and rock, and is a keen Manchester City supporter. He enjoys watching the news, has a strong interest in politics and current affairs, and values meaningful conversation.

He is very much looking forward to resuming an active life within his community with the support of his dedicated care team, including visiting some of his favourite local places.

The role will include supporting with personal care, safe moving and handling, and assisting with his clinical interventions. You will also support his daily routines while encouraging and enabling him to take part in activities that are meaningful and enjoyable to him.

Clinical Experience Previous experience supporting individuals with complex healthcare needs is desirable. Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in-house nursing team.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
• Have the right to work in the UK*
• Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
• Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
• Hold a full UK driving licence and be comfortable driving the client's adapted manual vehicle.
• Be comfortable working in a home with pets.
