Location: Lichfield, WS14

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Shifts: Part time | Days | 9am-3pm

About This Role

Do you have a passion for making a difference?

We're looking for compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to provide 1:1 support to a fun-loving 7-year-old boy with complex care needs, helping him thrive throughout his school day in Lichfield.

This is a rewarding opportunity where you'll deliver high-quality clinical and personal care while encouraging him to enjoy his day and participate in school life. He is a happy and engaging little boy who loves watching films—especially Toy Story—playing the drums and piano, and responds well to positive praise, laughter, and interaction with those around him.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will support him with:

• Personal care
• Moving and handling
• JEJ tube feeding, nutrition, and hydration
• Deep oral suctioning
• Ventilator support, when required

Clinical Experience

Previous experience supporting children with complex healthcare needs is desirable.

Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in-house nursing team.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
• Have the right to work in the UK*
• Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and child-centred care.
• Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
  • A full UK driving licence
• Be comfortable supporting a child with complex care needs within a school environment

We do not hold a sponsorship licence and are therefore unable to consider applicants requiring sponsorship.
