About This Role

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants to join a dedicated care team supporting a 17-year-old young man with complex healthcare needs in his own home.

He is a friendly, talkative and sociable young man who enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is a keen football fan, supporting Aston Villa and Nottingham County, and also enjoys playing Xbox and socialising.

The ideal candidate will be calm, attentive and reliable, with the ability to remain alert and responsive to his needs throughout the night. You will provide overnight monitoring while he sleeps, responding appropriately if his needs change and ensuring he remains safe and comfortable.

The role also includes supporting with medication and overnight respiratory care, following his individual care plan and providing reassurance and comfort when required.

Clinical Experience

Previous experience supporting adults with complex healthcare needs is desirable.

Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in-house nursing team.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
• Have the right to work in the UK*
• Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
• Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
• Be comfortable working overnight shifts.
• Be confident working independently and following personalised care routines.
• Be comfortable working in a family home with pets.
• Hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.

We do not hold a sponsorship licence and are therefore unable to consider applicants requiring sponsorship.
