About This Role

We are seeking compassionate, reliable and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to join a dedicated care team supporting a gentleman in his 50s with complex healthcare needs in his own home.

Our client receives personalised 1:1 support to help him maintain his independence, comfort and quality of life. He can communicate his needs and should be actively involved in decisions about his care, with his choices, preferences and independence respected at all times.

Your role will include supporting with medication administration, meal preparation, continence care, maintaining his home environment and assisting with day-to-day activities. You’ll provide person-centred support while encouraging him to remain as independent and active as possible.

He has a wide range of interests and enjoys playing guitar, archery, boxing, going to the gym and hydrotherapy. He also enjoys clay pigeon shooting, quiz nights, and visiting zoos and safari parks, so no two days are quite the same!

We’re looking for someone who is chatty, positive and confident, with a great sense of humour and the ability to build a genuine rapport. If you enjoy cooking, getting involved in activities and are passionate about promoting independence while providing high-quality care, we’d love to hear from you.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting in the UK.
• Have the right to work in the UK
• Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
• Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
• Hold a full UK or EU driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

We do not hold a sponsorship licence and are therefore unable to consider applicants requiring sponsorship.
