About This Role

We are looking for compassionate and reliable Healthcare Assistants to provide high-quality, person-centred care to a gentleman in his 50s living in his own home.

He enjoys watching TV and films and spending time with his much-loved French Bulldog, so we’re looking for someone with a warm, friendly and caring approach who can build a positive relationship with him.

In this rewarding night role, you’ll provide attentive 1:1 support throughout the night, assisting with personal care, mobility, daily routines and his complex clinical needs, including tracheostomy and ventilator care. You’ll remain vigilant to his needs, ensuring he is safe, comfortable and settled throughout the night, while responding appropriately to any changes in his condition.

You’ll work closely with his family and the wider care team to provide safe, consistent and person-centred care, maintaining clear communication and accurate handovers.

You’ll be part of a supportive and experienced team committed to helping you build confidence, develop your clinical skills and deliver high-quality complex care.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and adult-centred care.
• Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
• Be comfortable working in a home environment where there is a pet dog.

We do not hold a sponsorship licence and are therefore unable to consider applicants requiring sponsorship.
