Job Title: Healthcare Assistant

Location: Leigh, RH2

Pay: £17.00 to £22.00 per hour.

Shifts: Full Time & Part Time Night | 8:30pm to 8:00am

About This Role

We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to join a 1:1 care team supporting a 4-year-old boy in his own home.

Our service user enjoys watching Peppa Pig, sensory toys and spending time on his play mat kicking and rolling around. He also attends school two days a week and enjoys spending time at home with his family.

The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for working with children and be confident getting involved with play and activities. You’ll need to be attentive, switched on and able to provide engaging and personalised support throughout your shifts.

Clinical Experience

Previous experience supporting children’s with complex clinical needs is essential.

The specific clinical competencies required for our client are:

• Peg Feeding (Gastronomy Care)

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
• Have the right to work in the UK*
• Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and child-centred care.
• Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Children’s care experience
• Hands-on experience with PEG feeding

We do not hold a sponsorship licence and are therefore unable to consider applicants requiring sponsorship.
