• Shifts: Full-time days | Term time only | Monday–Friday
• Term Time: 3 shifts per week, 7:45am–7:00pm
• Non-Term Time: 20 hours per week, with additional hours available if required.

About This Role

We are looking for a caring and experienced Healthcare Assistant to provide one-to-one support to a young person with complex care needs throughout the school day.

You will meet at home in the morning to support with their morning routine before travelling to school. School transport is provided, and you will provide one-to-one support throughout the school day before travelling home and supporting with their evening routine.

You will provide support with personal care, medication, moving and handling and individual clinical needs, working closely with the school, family and wider care team.

The role is focused on providing safe, compassionate and person-centred support while helping the young person access education and enjoy a positive school experience.

Clinical Experience

Previous experience supporting children with complex healthcare needs is desirable.

Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in-house nursing team.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
• Have the right to work in the UK*
• Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and child-centred care.
• Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
