About This Role

We are looking for an outgoing Healthcare Assistant who can bring a good sense of humour when supporting a 26-year-old male who lives at home with his family.

He enjoys playing card games, particularly UNO, sharing a joke, and getting out into the community to visit places such as the Sea Life Centre and play mini golf.

You will play an important role in supporting him to enjoy the activities he loves, alongside providing care on a 2:1 basis. This will include administering medication, supporting with seizure management and assisting with any clinical needs when required.

Clinical Experience

Previous experience supporting adults with complex healthcare needs is desirable.

Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in house nursing team.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
• Have the right to work in the UK*
• Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and person-centred care.
• Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
• Pet friendly
