About This Role

We are looking for a caring, patient, and creative Healthcare Assistants to join a dedicated home care team for a fun-loving 6-year-old boy in Milton Keynes.

He thrives on interactive sensory play, particularly exploring different textures and sounds. He communicates through eye movements, gestures, and facial expressions, so an observant carer who can recognise and respond to his individual cues and communication style is essential.

In this role, you will support him with his clinical interventions while encouraging his development, engagement, and enjoyment through meaningful interaction and sensory play.

You will help create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where he feels comfortable expressing himself and taking part in activities that interest him.

Building a strong and trusting relationship with him is central to the role.

Clinical Experience

Previous experience supporting children with complex healthcare needs is desirable.

Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in-house nursing team.

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
• Have the right to work in the UK*
• Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and child-centred care.
• Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
• Be confident in supporting a child with complex care needs.
