About This Role
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to provide 1:1 daytime support to a 9-year-old boy in his family home.
He enjoys music, sensory lights, watching his favourite films and TV shows, and trips out to the park and cinema.
We are looking for someone who can bring energy, creativity and a positive attitude to his care, encouraging him to enjoy the activities he loves while providing the support he needs.
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will support him with his daily care needs, helping to keep him safe, comfortable and happy.
This will include personal care, moving and handling, medication administration, gastrostomy care, tracheostomy care and oral suctioning, alongside other clinical support.
We are looking for someone who is compassionate, patient and motivated, with a genuine passion for supporting children and helping them enjoy everyday life.

Clinical Experience
Previous experience supporting children with complex healthcare needs is desirable.
Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in-house nursing team.
