About This Role
We are looking for an attentive, caring and reliable Support Worker to provide 1:1 support to a 5-year-old boy with complex care needs in his family home and at school.
You will support him with his morning routine, including personal care, breakfast, medication and other aspects of his individual care plan, before safely driving him to school and completing a handover with school staff. While he is at school, you will return to the family home and support with food preparation, light domestic duties and planning activities for him to enjoy when he returns home.
After school, you will collect him and support him with his evening and bedtime routines, including personal care, mealtimes and other daily requirements. You will also plan and take part in activities such as crafts, sensory play and physiotherapy exercises, helping him to stay engaged and enjoy his time at home.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you will support his complex care, daily routines and development, while helping him enjoy a positive and fulfilling day.
We are looking for someone who is patient, organised, proactive and caring, with a genuine interest in supporting children and working closely with their families.
