About This Role

We are looking for caring, compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants to support a lovely 4-year-old boy who lives at home with his family in Beckenham.

As part of his dedicated care team, you will play an important role in meeting his complex care needs, providing personalised support to maintain his health, safety and comfort.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care and moving and handling, monitoring his overall wellbeing and recognising any changes in his condition.

You will also support his specific clinical needs, including oral and nasal suctioning and seizure management, ensuring that all care is delivered safely and in line with his individual care plan.

This role requires someone who is attentive, confident in recognising changes in a child's condition and able to respond appropriately to his clinical needs. You will work closely with his family and the wider clinical team to provide consistent, high-quality care in a familiar home environment.

Clinical Experience

Previous experience supporting children with complex clinical needs is essential, including hands-on experience with the following clinical competencies:

• Nasal and oral suctioning
• Nebulisers
• Seizure management

Essential Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.
• Have the right to work in the UK*
• Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and child-centred care.
• Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.
• Nasal and oral suctioning
• Nebulisers
• Seizure management
