Clinical Nurse Specialist

Location: Peterborough (covering the East region)

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum plus bonus

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday. No nights, no on call, No long shifts

Are you a Registered Nurse with a background in complex care, A&E, ICU, or critical care? Join Apollo Home Healthcare as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and oversee high-quality, person-centred care to adults and children in their own homes.

The Role:

Based at our Peterborough office with travel to client homes across the East, you will take clinical ownership of complex care caseloads (including occasional paediatric packages), while training and upskilling Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing and reviewing bespoke care plans
• Leading clinical training for HCAs/Support Workers
• Reviewing clinical documentation (MAR charts, care records)
• Ensuring compliant, high-quality care to national standards
• Building relationships with clients, families, and MDTs

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Airway management, tracheostomy care & suctioning
• Ventilation management (invasive/non-invasive)
• Enteral feeding (PEG/JEJ/NG)
• Valid NMC Pin, two plus years post-qualification experience
• Full UK driving licence and vehicle access.

Experience with spinal injuries, ABI, or neurological conditions beneficial but not essential.
