Job description

Are you experienced in providing Complex Care to children and young people?

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a young girl with complex care needs.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user is a young girl who lives with her family in Formby.

She likes to engage with her carers, spend time with family, watch TV & Films, sensory play and enjoys getting out into the community.

This is a great role where you will be supporting her during the day.

Playtime and fun are an important part of this role and a genuine interest in working with children and young people is essential.

Essential Experience Required

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling

Please note, an occupations requirement of this role is that all carers must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Successful applicants will be require to provide a copy of their vaccination card for our records

Desirable Experience

  • Gastrostomy Care
  • Epilepsy Awareness
  • Ventilation Management

We have the following shifts available;

  • Full Time Days - 7am - 7pm (8am - 12noon on Saturdays)
  • Part Time Nights - 10pm - 7am
