Job description

Are you looking to expand your skills and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care or do you already have Complex Care experience?

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a young child with complex care needs.

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.

Our service user lives with her parents and siblings in Grantham and attends nursery during the week.

We require a care team to support her throughout the night and carry out clinical interventions as required.

She is a happy young girl who enjoys interacting with her care team, singing songs and nursery rhymes, and playing peek-a-boo.

She cannot communicate verbally and will use noises and facial expressions to indicate her wants and needs. It is important that her care team can interpret her way of communicating to avoid her becoming distressed or frustrated.

Essential Experience Required

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Medication Administration
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling

Desirable Experience

  • Gastrostomy Care
  • Ventilation Management

We have the following shifts available;

  • Nights “ 10pm “ 7am
  • Up to 5 shifts per week
