Are you looking to expand your skills and enhance your career to include providing Complex Clinical Care or do you already have Complex Care experience?
Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Healthcare Assistants to support a child with complex care needs.
We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistants who are passionate about their job, enjoy delivering one to one support and who can build positive relationships with our service users and their families.
Our service user lives with her family in Nottingham and requires care throughout the night.
She enjoys sensory based activities, having stories read to her, listening to music, and accessing the community with the support of her care team.
She loves being in the water and spending time in the Hydro pool when at school. She also her own hydro bath at home.
She is unable to communicate verbally and does so via facial expressions and gestures.
It is important that you can interpret her wants and needs to avoid her becoming distressed or frustrated.
Throughout the night you will monitor and observe her regularly for signs of seizures and carry out clinical interventions as required. “ She is likely to be settled in bed upon arrival.
Should she wake, you will be on hand to provide comfort and reassurance, ensuring she has a restful night s sleep.
In the morning you will support with her personal care and dressing prior to school.
